Piney Creek is a family owned cattle ranch. There are 4 generations alive and there have been 5 generations on this ranch.  We are very proud of this heritage and wanted to share the following photos.

Hello to you all from Big Sky Country in Montana. I would like you all to get to know about us and also our lives.  My husband Paul and I are the 3rd generation of Loynings' to be on this ranch. We run a commercial herd of cattle at the base of Pryor Mountains (the wallpaper on our site is the Pryor's taken from our front yard) on the Montana/Wyoming Border. We are very proud of our western heritage and our way of life. Below you will see pictures of ranch life. Our ranch is run the old fashioned way on horseback and with a lot of hard work...  The ranch is my life and my dogs are a great joy to me and also my passion.

My Policies

My love for dogs has stretched many decades, from the strays I brought home as a child to the first purebred I owned.  I have dedicated a large portion of my life to animals of all kinds, but dogs are my passion. 
I have evolved in the 48 years I have been blessed to be on this earth into a hobby show person.  I breed for myself first and foremost. I breed for improvement. My dogs are tested and checked on a yearly basis for breed specific problems such as patella's, hips, hearts, eyes.  I will not breed nor show anything that is not deemed sound in structure and temperament.  I breed for the "whole dog" not just for conformation which in my opinion is a problem with the dog world in general.
I try very hard to answer any and all inquiries and questions that may come my way, as I feel all "dog people" should be willing to educate any person truly interested in learning more about Chihuahuas.
I do not nor will I ever place a Chihuahua in a large breeding kennel, with brokers or pet stores.  I place my puppies in loving pet homes and this is my most important requirement for a Chihuahua from Piney Creek. The select number of show puppies I place are in show homes that will be loving pet home first and show homes second.  I do require references and am happy to supply references to anyone interested in one of our Chihuahuas.
My puppies come with a 1 year health guarantee against LIFE THREATENING CONGENITAL AND GENETIC MUTATIONS.  I provide a puppy package with instruction on feeding, training, and health schedule for the puppy.  They also come with a lifetime of breeder support and hopefully a wonderful friendship. 
In closing I have been blessed to have the financial wherewithal to enjoy my dogs as a hobby.  I do not count, nor will I ever count, on my dogs for anything other than bringing a tremendous amount of joy into my life.
